United Way Processor & Case Manager - 3 Month Contract -MH

Job description

*Need to provide internet coverage, NO WIFI or hotspots*

*Need to have an in home office space*

Duties & Responsibilities of PAC Processor

· Answer phone calls and emails throughout your shift

· Patiently explain online application forms & processes

· Assist clients in figuring out how/where to obtain needed documentation

· Assist clients in submitting documentation to your office

· Enter data into proprietary software

· Handle each client with dignity and respect

Mail/email required communications to Clients

· Contact Clients to gather all required information to process case files for Utility Assistance

· Review all program offerings to each Client

· One-on-one Budget coaching

· Contact Clients to inform them of enrollment or denial of requested Utility Assistance

Abilities & Requirements for All positions

· High-speed internet access: Most agents are temporarily performing work duties from home, a few office desks are available at the office

· Internet access must be through wired connection: Cannot be satellite internet or cell-tower-based hot-spot due to connectivity concerns – Your work equipment will need to be connected to your Modem via Ethernet cable, which will be provided

· Isolated work-from-home office with closed door that will protect client confidentiality and avoid distractions: Due to State and program requirements, all work must be done in a closed environment

· Employee must remain at work for the full work hours required each day: schedule is not flexible, and the successful representative will not be able to manage both child/family care and work duties

· Current Schedule: (Subject to adjustment)

· Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 11:30 pm & Friday 10:00 - 2:00 pm

· Excellent typing speed and accuracy

· Maintain client confidentiality

· Pleasant phone voice

· Professional interpersonal manner

· Patient, able to explain a processes multiple different ways

Additional information for All Positions

Program staff must be willing to drive to the Jackson Location to receive training when required.

This position is grant-funded, which is why it has an expected length of 8-10 months. If additional funding is provided the position length could be extended
