ASK is expanding the business development department and looking to hire a Lead Generation Specialist. As a Lead Generation Specialist, this individual will work directly with the Marketing and Business Development team in scheduling appointments with qualified prospective clients. This position is also responsible for refining prospect lists, developing call flow guides, and following up with potential clients. An ideal candidate is creative, personable, and has the ability to identify objections while breaking down conversation barriers.

ASK is looking for someone to bring a deep level of energy and enthusiasm – we are not looking for robotic call scripts, we are looking for someone who is conversational. This position is supported by the Business Development team, who will provide coaching and assistance in developing the call guide, making modifications, creating conversational openers, dialogue, and role play about ASK’s service offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Calls prospective clients and identifies potential opportunities
  • Use call guides to provide information about ASK’s service and present benefits
  • Schedule appointments with prospective clients for the Business Development Team
  • Nurture and warm prospects for further discussions with the Business Development Team
  • Keep records of calls, sales generated and record useful information
  • Entry of information about prospect into CRM, create dated follow-ups
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective clients
  • Updating and organizing contact records and lists
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the clients’ requirements, pain points, and areas of interest
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Contributes to the success of the Business Development Team
  • Willing to attend area Marketing events representing ASK’s solutions
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team for entering contacts into email drip campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of sales techniques for opening sales conversations & new opportunity
  • Experience in the technology industry preferred, but not required
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle objections
  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
  • High school diploma
  • Proficient in English
