Tim Skubick has been covering Michigan government and politics longer than anyone in state history with 48 years on that beat. He anchors the Public TV series Off the Record and covers the capitol for WJBK-TV and WWJ NewsRadio 950 in Detroit and WLNS-TV-6 in Lansing and Jackson. He's authored two books on state politics\, is a member of the Journalism and Broadcast Halls of Fame and has received five Emmy's for his broadcast journalism work. He's a graduate of MSU with B.A. and M.A. degrees.
