DESCRIPTION:Jackson County National Civics Bee   \n\nThe Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host the National Civics Bee   Jackson County!\n\n\n\n  This exciting competition encourages middle school students to engage in civics\, showcase their knowledge\, and explore ways to make a difference in their communities.\n\n\n\n  Who Can Participate? Any 6th\, 7th\, or 8th grade student residing in Michigan who is passionate about civics and has a vision for improving their community.\n\n\n\n  Competition Overview \n\n  Essay Submission Deadline Has Passed   Stay tuned for the next steps!\n\n  Essay Selection: The top 20 essays will move forward in the competition.\n\n  Jackson County Civics Bee: Finalists will compete on April 10\, 2025\, for a chance to advance to the state finals.\n\n  State & National Finals: Top competitors will qualify for the Michigan Civics Bee\, with an opportunity to advance to the National Civics Bee Championship in Washington\, D.C.\, Fall 2025! \n\n\n\nWith cash prizes  \, recognition  \, and the chance to compete on a national stage\, this is an incredible opportunity for young leaders to make their mark!\n\n\n\n  Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to competition day!
