Meet and greet over 400 community, business leaders and students who participated in Challenge Day while honoring our youth as we remember and celebrate the birthday of a great icon, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, The Jackson County Intermediate School District, the City of Jackson Human Relations Commission, Business Leaders and students from Challenge Day 2015 as we honor and remember Dr. Martin Luther King while hearing an inspiring, motivational and encouraging speech from First Lieutenant Kyle Bowman of the Michigan State Police Post in Jackson. RSVP's are required, this event sells out every year.

First Lieutenant Kyle Bowman began his career with the Michigan State Police (MSP) in 1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and a master’s degree in Leadership: Homeland Security from Siena Heights University. He completed the Homeland Security Executive Leaders and Fusion Leaders Program at the Naval Post Graduate School Center for Homeland Defense in Monterrey.
First Lieutenant Bowman currently serves as the Jackson Post Commander with the Michigan State Police. He has held this position since September of 2014. The Jackson Post provides police services in Hillsdale and Jackson Counties. He provides strategic leadership in investigations and community outreach, with a focus on serving and protecting citizens.Date and Time
