The Michigan Legislature sent changes to the Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) and some of the changes took place, alongside others that came along with the passing. Two laws changed for the better, but the political dynamics in the Michigan Senate did not allow us to get all of the changes the Jackson Chamber had been advocating for.
