Segue, Inc. is seeking an experienced behavioral health professional to lead our multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Jackson.

This isn't a position focused only on clinical supervision. We're looking for a leader who can support excellent clinical care and build a strong, accountable team. The ACT Team Lead provides clinical guidance, coaches and develops staff, oversees day-to-day program operations, and helps ensure individuals with serious mental illness receive coordinated, recovery-oriented services in the community.

Segue, Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health organization providing community-based mental health services in Jackson and Hillsdale Counties. As a provider within the local community mental health (CMH) system, Segue partners with LifeWays and other local agencies to provide services that support recovery, independence, and quality of life for individuals in our communities.

In this position, you'll contribute to that mission by leading a multidisciplinary team that provides intensive, community-based services to individuals with complex behavioral health needs.

What You'll Lead

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for Segue's ACT program.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and support members of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
• Lead daily team meetings and provide clinical consultation and guidance.
• Support strong treatment planning, care coordination, crisis response, and clinical decision-making.
• Establish clear expectations and promote staff accountability and professional growth.
• Monitor service delivery, documentation, productivity, program performance, and consumer outcomes.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, and employee performance-management processes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen team processes, service quality, and program performance.
• Collaborate with hospitals, courts, law enforcement, community partners, and referral sources.
• Help ensure ACT services meet Medicaid, CARF, agency, and other applicable requirements.
• Provide direct clinical support and participate in on-call coverage when needed to support consumers and the team.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current Michigan clinical licensure appropriate to the position (LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent).
• At least two years of direct behavioral health experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to coach, guide, and hold staff accountable.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Michigan driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to provide services in community-based settings and participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Residence within 45 minutes of Segue's Jackson office to support on-call responsibilities.

We'd Especially Like to Meet You If...

You have experience with ACT, multidisciplinary behavioral health teams, community mental health (CMH), serious mental illness, crisis services, or other intensive community-based programs.

Experience with Medicaid, CARF, quality improvement, clinical compliance, electronic medical records, or MCBAP certification is also valuable—but we don't expect one person to arrive with experience in every area.
