The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host the National Civics Bee – Jackson County!
🎉 This exciting competition encourages middle school students to engage in civics, showcase their knowledge, and explore ways to make a difference in their communities.
🌟 Who Can Participate? Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student residing in Michigan who is passionate about civics and has a vision for improving their community.

✅ Essay Submission Deadline Has Passed – Stay tuned for the next steps!
✅ Essay Selection: The top 20 essays will move forward in the competition.
✅ Jackson County Civics Bee: Finalists will compete on April 10, 2025, for a chance to advance to the state finals.
✅ State & National Finals: Top competitors will qualify for the Michigan Civics Bee, with an opportunity to advance to the National Civics Bee Championship in Washington, D.C., Fall 2025!🏆
With cash prizes 💰, recognition 🏅, and the chance to compete on a national stage, this is an incredible opportunity for young leaders to make their mark!
