IT Manager

Lomar is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Manager to lead and support all aspects of our technology environment. In this role, you will oversee infrastructure, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations across the company. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage systems, support users, and drive improvements. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with leadership and team members across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and systems to ensure uptime, security, and performance
  • Administer and support the Epicor ERP system, including customizations, upgrades, and reimplementation efforts
  • Manage and support the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Lead IT projects from planning through deployment, working with department managers
  • Perform security audits and implement data protection best practices and access controls
  • Ensure hardware and software are current, properly licensed, and aligned with business needs
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all technology-related issues
  • Supervise one IT Specialist and manage external vendor relationships
  • Respond to after-hours issues as needed

  • Maintain organization and documentation of systems and processes
  • Support company operations with timely and effective IT solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT operations experience, including infrastructure management and project leadership
  • Hands-on ERP system experience (Epicor preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and backup/recovery systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based role within a manufacturing environment
  • Frequent interaction with all departments across the organization
  • Occasional after-hours support required
  • Prolonged periods working at a computer
